HR documents are filled in from the employee profile, signed remotely and filed automatically in the personnel file. Professional training is organised the same way as health and safety training (instruirea SSM).
What the law requires
The company's obligations, in short.
- Labour Code (Codul muncii)allows employment documents to be signed with an electronic signature (a provision introduced by Law no. 208/2021).
- Labour Code, art. 192–198requires the employer to provide professional training for employees.
- Regulation (EU) 910/2014 (eIDAS)sets out the types of electronic signature and their legal value across the European Union.
- Law no. 214/2024regulates the use of electronic signatures in Romania.
