What the law requires
The company’s obligations, in short.
- Law no. 319/2006on occupational health and safety provides for setting up the health and safety committee.
- HG no. 1425/2006sets out who sits on the committee, how members are elected, its duties and how it works.
- An employer with at least 50 workerssets up the committee, convenes it at least once per quarter and sends the minutes to the Labour Inspectorate (ITM).
